Brief History

The Christian Bookstore has served Suffolk, VA for over 30 years!
The Christian Bookstore (formerly named "The Way Christian Bookstore")
began when Linda and Gary Saunders answered the
call of God to open a Cristian bookstore that would serve the city
of Suffolk and its surrounding areas and churches. In 2005,
Andrew and Tracy Mattox also answered the call of God to purchase the
bookstore from Linda and Gary Saunders when they decided to
retire after 31 years in the ministry. After purchasing the store,
Andrew and Tracy decided to move the store across town to the
recently renovated Suffolk Plaza Shopping Center. The Christian
Bookstore is located between Citi-Trends and Catos and is also in
the same shopping center along with Sears, Chick-fil-a, Big Lots, and
Schewels.
